"I'VE ALREADY BEEN TO SPACE"

Here's a little concept I've cooked up for a future graphic novel of mine. "I've already been to space (I didn't like it very much)" follows the story of a man who has made it his life's mission to reach the stars. He's heard all the stories, all those untouched planets and uncharted corners of the cosmos, but he's faced with the realisation that he's already spent his whole life on this space rock, surely the others will be a little more exciting? Is this all there is?
